With the Blue Devils' 108-62 win over UNC Greensboro, Coach Mike Krzyzewski earned his 880 Division I men's basketball win, one more than Coach Dean Smith, making Coach K second in all time NCAA Division I wins.

Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski and Connecticut head coach Geno Auriemma were each named the 2010 USA Basketball National Coach of the Year on Monday. Coach K is the first four-time recipient of the award.

Durham Maintains #9 Ranking in NNO Competition
In the 27th Annual National Night Out (NNO) crime, drug and violence prevention awards competition, the City of Durham maintained its No. 9 ranking among similar-sized cities nationwide. Also, for the third consecutive year, NNO All-Star honors were achieved by Durham’s Azalea Park Apartments community and Audubon Park Homeowners Association.
DPS Ranks Among Top 10 Nationally in Board Certified Teachers
Sixty-two Durham Public School teachers have been designated National Board Certified Teachers ranking DPS among the top 10 districts in the nation in its number of new nationally certified teachers. The induction brings the total number of nationally certified teachers in Durham to 327.
