East Durham Children's Initiative Receives Largest Gift to Date from Swiss Philanthropic Organization

"The East Durham Children's Initiative, a program working to create a pipeline of services for children birth through early adulthood in a 120-block area east of downtown Durham, has received its largest gift to date from the Oak Foundation, a Swiss-based philanthropic organization. The amount awarded to EDCI for their "cradle to career" approach to changing East Durham for the better has not be released at the request of the Oak Foundation."
