Durham Songwriter Inducted Into NC Hall of Fame

Durham songwriter John D. Loudermilk will be inducted into the N.C. Music Hall of Fame. The Durham native has written around 1,000 songs, 350 of which have been recorded by some 1,100 artists, including “Tobacco Road,” "Cherokee Nation," “Abilene” and “Then You Can Tell Me Goodbye.”
