"The Loving Story" Airs on HBO

"The Loving Story," a film by Durham filmmaker Nancy Buirski chronicling the story of Richard and Mildred Loving, whose battle to be legally married led to an end of bans on interracial marriages in 16 states, airs tonight at 9PM on HBO. The film screened at the 2011 Full Frame and Tribecca film festivals and won the WGA Screenplay Award at the 2011 SilverDocs Festival.
