Duke University Professional Schools Earn Top Rankings from U.S. News & World Report
Duke University’s graduate and professional schools rank among the country’s leading institutions in their fields, according to new U.S. News & World Report graduate and professional school rankings. The School of Nursing was at #6, The School of Medicine was at #8, The School of Law was ranked at #8, Fuqua School of Business at #13 and the Pratt School of Engineering was #28.

Dzau Given AHA Research Achievement Award
Victor J. Dzau, a physician, Duke University's chancellor for Health Affairs and James B. Duke Professor of Medicine, was honored with the American Heart Association's 2010 Research Achievement Award for work that advanced the field of cardiovascular research.

Grants Awarded to the Duke School of Medicine
Duke University's Continuing Medical Education Office in the School of Medicine received two major grants from GlaxoSmithKline's Center for Medical Education totalling nearly $1.5 million to help physicians fill important gaps in care for patients with breast cancer or HIV/AIDS.
