DCVB's President Recognized With 2014 Women in Business Award

Shelly Green, President & CEO of the Durham Convention & Visitors Bureau was recognized among 25 other women with the Triangle Business Journal's "2014 Women in Business Award."

DCVB Director of Sales Named Supplier of the Year

Corey Bizzell, Director of Group Sales and Service and the Durham Convention & Visitors Bureau was honored with a “Supplier of the Year” award by his peers in the Meeting Professional International Carolinas Chapter. The highly competitive award is given to a member who showed outstanding commitment to MPI and the meetings industry.

Durham Convention & Visitors Bureau Wins Alfred P. Sloan Award

The Durham Convention & Visitors Bureau was recognized with the Alfred P. Sloan Award for Business Excellence in Workplace Flexibility by the Greater Durham Chamber of Commerce. This is the second year DCVB has won the award, the other in 2005. In 2009 DCVB was a runner up.
