Durham Featured Four Times in "100 North Carolina Icons"

Four Durham icons were listed among "100 North Carolina Icons," by Michael Graff.  Bull Durham is listed at number 44, Research Triangle park is listed at number 64, ACC Basketball (including Duke) is listed at number 66, and Duke Chapel is listed at number 93.

Durham GE Aviation Plant Featured in New Advertising Campaign

GE Aviation's plant in Durham is featured in the advertising campaign GE Stories: Aviation. Part of the GEnx engine which powers Boeing's passenger aircraft, the 787 Dreamliner, is assembled at the Durham GE Aviation plant among other higher-volume engine lines. The plant turns out about five engines per week.
