ESPN Names Blue Devils Rookie "National Freshmand of the Year"

ESPN has named Blue Devil rookie Elizabeth Williams its National Freshman of the Year. The 6'3" center has also been recognized as the ACC Defensive Player of the Year, ACC Rookie of the Year and was named to the All-ACC First Team.

Duke Women Claim ACC Regular Season Title

The Duke Blue Devils Women's Basketball team claimed the ACC regular season championship by defeating the UNC Tar Heels in a 69-63 win. This was the Blue Devils' first win at UNC's Dean Dome in five years.

Duke University has been named one of 33 winners in the NCAA Division I “Pack the House” Challenge. NCAA Division I women’s basketball marketing staffs selected a home game and designated that date as a “Pack the House” game with the goal of setting an attendance record.
