“A Song of Hope: The Life Story of Pauli Murray," a civil-rights documentary about Durham native and civil rights leader Pauli Murray, is currently being filmed in North Carolina.

Pauli Murray Honored with State Historical Marker Sunday

Durham has honored the work and life of civil rights pioneer Pauli Murray (1910-1985) with a state historical marker at the corner of Carroll and West Chapel Hill streets just blocks from where Murray grew up.
