Durham Designated First Gold Level SOAR Community in North Carolina

Durham has been designated by the North Carolina Coalition to End Homelessness as the first Gold Level Certified SOAR Community in North Carolina. SOAR, or SSI/SSDI Outreach, Access and Recovery, is an approach that helps communities increase access to mainstream benefits for people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
