Duke University Professional Schools Earn Top Rankings from U.S. News & World Report

Duke University’s graduate and professional schools rank among the country’s leading institutions in their fields, according to new U.S. News & World Report graduate and professional school rankings. The School of Nursing was at #6, The School of Medicine was at #8, The School of Law was ranked at #8, Fuqua School of Business at #13 and the Pratt School of Engineering was #28.

Fuqua Ranks 10th on Composite Rankings of Elite Business Schools

Duke University's Fuqua School of Business ranked tenth on Poets & Quants' composite rankings of elite business schools. The composite rankings are based on rankings published by Financial Times, The Economist, Bloomberg BusinessWeek, Forbes and U.S. News & World report.

Fuqua School of Business Expands Global Presence to Kazakhstan

As part of their global commitment and intent to become the world’s first legitimately global business school, Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business will assist Nazarbayev University (NU) in Kazakhstan in creating a business school from the ground up in Kazakhstan’s capital city of Astana.The target date for the launch of an MBA program at Nazarbayev University is September 2012. Fuqua currently has a presence in Dubai, United Arab Emirates; London, England; New Delhi, India; Shanghai/Kunshan, China; and St. Petersburg, Russia.

Duke Hosts Russian Official for Briefing on Business in Russia

In a meeting arranged by the US Russia Business Council, Senator Mikhail Margelov, chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation met with representatives of the Fuqua School of Business and the Office of Global Strategy and Programs to discuss the changing landscape of business in Russia and the country's search for partners to further economic development. The meeting was attended by a representative from Senator Richard Burr's office and Jean Davis, director of International Trade for the North Carolina Department of Commerce.
