Durham Secures the Title of Tastiest Town in the South
After a fierce voting battle, Durham has been recognized by Southern Living magazine as "The Tastiest Town in the South." Durham will be featured in Southern Living's May issue, which will hit newsstands April 19.

Hill & Laettner Named NCAA's All-Time March Madness Players
Former Duke standouts Grant Hill and Christian Laettner, both members of Duke’s 1991 and 1992 NCAA Championship teams, were named to the NCAA’s list of All-Time March Madness Players. Additionally, Laettner’s buzzer-beating shot against Kentucky in the 1992 East Regional Final – a shot that was set up by a cross-court pass from Hill – was named the NCAA’s All-Time March Madness Moment.

For the fourth year in a row, the Duke Blue Devils are America's Favorite Men's College Basketball team according to the he Harris Poll of 2,276 adults, of whom 570 follow college basketball, surveyed online between March 13 and 18, 2013 by Harris Interactive.

New York Times Admires Durham's Wine Scene
"Vibrant wine and food cultures thrive these days in all sorts of American cities... Still, one hardly expects to find a Shangri-La for wine lovers blossoming here in the rolling Piedmont hills of central North Carolina...Mr. Sherr and two partners...opened Cave Taureau in downtown Durham last fall, a small shop with a deliciously recondite selection that would be right at home in Brooklyn or San Francisco.
