Durham Selected for IBM Smarter Cities Challenge
Durham was one of 33 cities worldwide selected to receive a 2012 IBM Smarter Cities Challenge grant worth for $400,000 of consulting services from IBM. The Smarter Cities Challenge, launched in 2011, is a competitive grant program awarding IBM expertise to address the wide range of challenges facing cities today.
